These events have become rather common, I can think of at least five since Trump's term began.
They get less press than Trump posting a pooping meme... so, what's the motivation for the staging? A paragraph at HuffPo?

I’ve wondered about this myself. It feels like school and mass shootings are down compared to previous years. Is it because the media deliberately reports them less, or because the kinds of people who use to vent their impotent rage at soft targets have been allowed greater privilege to assault individuals/small groups of “others” so instead of shooting up a random school they can instead target those the regime has declared open season on? It’s probably a mix of both, plus the normalization of mass shootings to the point they only stick out in the public mind when the casualty count tops a few dozen.
I want him to live long enough to completely fuck Republicans in the midterms.
If a civil war happens, I want Trump to be the one prosecuting his end of it. It will be a chaotic bloodbath of stupidity, but it would work out in the favor of the good guys.
