Basic tailoring for a suit is cheap. If you can find a thrift store that has suits that are close to fitting, you can frequently get the suit and tailoring for under $100. It'll make it look amazing.
Tailored clothing is so important, especially suits. If you wear something ill fitting that's expensive, compared with something cheap that fits well, the cheap will always win. Even if the expensive thing is much higher quality.
