They finally figured out the way to beat a narcissist:

Just say no.

I work with a lot of shitty attitude people. You wouldn't believe how quick they change once you make it clear you see their behavior.

They're rot, expose it to sunlight and they'll wither away

Yeah, they learned that capitulation isn't profitable when they fired Jimmy Kimmel and everyone canceled their Disney+ subscription. From then on, they decided to stand up for free speech until their dying breath (or until the cost/benefit shifts and the harassment from the FCC costs them more than the blowback from collaborating with the regime).

I'll never get over how the right has been able to convince nearly all of America that "The View" is leftist.

I can't believe they are FAFO with The Mouse ™️

This does not make Disney the good guy by a long shot.

They may be doing it for bad reasons but they're doing something that needs doing.

Disney, Iran, GW Bush, etc. Somehow MAGA manages to consistently be worse than the worst people on Earth.

Is #2 in line for the guillotine

[-] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 13 points 1 week ago

True.

It is, however, objectively good that any corporation or public entity is deliberately and loudly standing up to him though.

That's good because I was ready to cancel Disney/Hulu if they kissed orange butt. They are my only paid streaming service now after canceling Prime and Netflix.

[-] Drusas@fedia.io 22 points 1 week ago

I already canceled them both when they caved on Kimmel the first time around. Fuck 'em.

Good that they're fighting this time, at least.

[-] garretble@lemmy.world 3 points 6 days ago

Same. I had Disney+ and Hulu for YEEEARS until that happened. I canceled immediately. Also canceled Paramount after having it for years when they canceled Colbert for no reason other than to appease the dipshit president.

[-] ora 3 points 6 days ago

Yeah if you saw all the shit with Kimmel and didn't cancel.... I can't help but feel you weren't going to cancel long term.

They sent him a gift basket full of sand and a crocket mallet. And a nice infographic on heavy card stock show how he can pound the sand up his ass with the crocket mallet.

Their PAs thought that a piece of rope so he can hang it and attempt to piss on it when it's swinging would be to hard for the guy to figure out.
