Its a dead racoons penis, flattened and grilled.

[-] AlecSadler@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 6 days ago

I second this, wtf is it? A weird gray slab of meat? A flattened condom?

[-] 14th_cylon@lemmy.zip 7 points 6 days ago

and when we are at it, what is the brown shit? the only stuff i recognize there is the carrot...

[-] AlecSadler@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 6 days ago

It looks like a super dry smashed beef patty? Maybe? I hope?

According to the article

The image showed a lunch tray that was largely empty with only a small portion of shredded meat and a folded tortilla.

But I'd never imagine that grey slice of whatever could be edible.

That quote is referring to the other picture in the article. The one that has a tortilla and shredded meat with it.

Beaver tail.

It was the "lamb" to be paired with pita and lettuce for gyros. No telling how accurate that is, though....

the "door dash grandma" at the white house "sharon simmons" is a actor they reuse a lot. She testified last year in congress pretending to be a concerned citizen to support the big beautiful bill act, and pretended to be in tje military in another skit they tried to pull. They really need to get more actors, its getting ridiculous.

Is that supposed to be food??

[-] ProfThadBach@lemmy.world 41 points 1 week ago

Holy shit. There one thing you never take away from your troops. That is chow. You can work their asses off and run them till they drop but you better make sure the chow is hot an plentiful.

[-] northernlights@lemmy.today 32 points 1 week ago

I don't get it. I get that logistics are hard, but that the thing about the US military, it's that they're so very huge, they're really good at it.

And anyway, if you can drop hundreds of bombs on Tehran, how hard is it to drop MREs on your boats on the way really? Honest question.

[-] Furbag@lemmy.world 3 points 6 days ago

The Trump admin doesn't consider competency as a crucial skill to be a military logistician. In fact, the only crucial skill they care about is loyalty to Trump.

[-] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 34 points 1 week ago

You’re not appreciating the level of incompetence at the top (now).

[-] northernlights@lemmy.today 4 points 6 days ago

Hey c'mon now they're really good at what they care about: making themselves rich. It's just that they don't care about anything or anybody else.

[-] muxika@piefed.muxika.org 25 points 1 week ago

Didn't Rumsfeld say something about going to war with the army you can't afford? /s

[-] MartianRecon@lemmus.org 7 points 1 week ago

I'll never understand how there wasn't riots after that statement.

[-] ripcord@lemmy.world 5 points 6 days ago

It was "go to war with the army you have"

[-] MartianRecon@lemmus.org 2 points 6 days ago

I remember. Multiple people from my hs died in that war. But KBR sure as hell drug out the design times for up-armoring humvees to protest people so they could milk the govt for more money.

Have one piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, corn tortilla, and one other thing.

[-] DrSleepless@lemmy.world 18 points 1 week ago

They’re on a boat, plenty of fish in the sea.

[-] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 17 points 1 week ago

Not for long considering the oil war they are about to wage

[-] northernlights@lemmy.today 16 points 1 week ago

Damn, even military personnel are eating like public school students now.

And I guarantee you that over half of them voted for him, still support him, and will still defend this bullshit and him.
