Comforting as this angle might be to some, I hate that people are trying to excuse what are clearly a lifetime of personality flaws and intentional bad behavior by removing his agency and attributing it to severe mental illness.

He's not demented, he's just an evil piece of shit.

oh boy. I can't wait for his face to rot underground. I will water it with piss.

[-] HarneyToker@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago

I will happily take whatever consequences come to me for pissing on the Cheeto’s grave.

[-] anomnom@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 days ago

The line of people waiting to “pay respect” while chugging from gallon jugs of water will be long.

[-] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 5 points 3 days ago

I'll have a high-fiber meal the day before I visit his grave.

I just read this to the tune of “Shots (feat. Lil Jon)” by LMFAO.

Sigh...I was at a neurodegenerative diseases conference and there was a presentation by a large computing company about software that could detect dementia with very high accuracy from a short audio interview. Offline, the devs admitted they fed in Trump speeches and it scored as advanced dementia.

That was in 2016. Everything you in see in Trump is typical personality, aggression and infantile behavior seem in dementia seniors homes.

It's not the first time the USA has had a sitting president with dementia. The country has a fetish with elderly politicians.

If there was an independent media any more, they would have asked him to draw a clock face with the set time on live TV.

[-] Brummbaer@pawb.social 2 points 2 days ago

I wonder if there is a way to get him to try to draw a clock. He would certainly overpower his handlers and try doing it.

That would not uncurse this timeline, but at least it would be funny.

There are a variety of simple tests from the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA) he won't be able to do.

This is so fucking dangerous. USA put unlimited power into a person with a brain disease and thousands will die because of it.

The average age of Senate is 65 The average age of the house is 58. The average age of Americans is 39.

66% of people have cognitive decline by age 70. You cannot run a society on old people, who have no vested interest in a healthy future.

[-] Reygle@lemmy.world 53 points 3 days ago

The wannabe dictator who had serious mental issues all his life but was able to compensate with fraud and money for the last 30 years has problems with his brain?

NOOOOOOOOO WAYYYYYYYY

[-] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 25 points 3 days ago

All the signs of pedophilia, rape and corruption too.

[-] fox2263@lemmy.world 30 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Epstein thought he had dementia like 10 years ago

[-] Paranoidfactoid@lemmy.world 9 points 3 days ago

A stopped pedophile is right once a decade?

[-] ExLisper@lemmy.curiana.net 19 points 3 days ago

I love it when the main stream media starts saying out laud what everyone knew for years. It's like... the last horse crosses the line. Congrats. The reality is finally so obvious to everyone that even the media can't pretend it's not true.

[-] kmartburrito@lemmy.world 27 points 3 days ago

Random, but this pulled up an old memory. When I was a kid bordering on teenagerhood, one of my friends was excited that her parents were finally permitting her to swear. "No shit, Sherlock," was her favorite, and it ended up practically becoming her catch phrase.

[-] kmartburrito@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

Ha, funny how memories work like that :)

You should call her and catch up a bit, it's a sign!

[-] quick_snail@feddit.nl 6 points 2 days ago

I'm no stable genius, not in the terms of the president... But maybe this is exactly what it seems like?

I know, everyone... But stick with me.

What if it's all EXACTLY like we all think it is? And what if most of us are 100% aware of this, and have been the entire time?

Man, that'd be crazy. Imagine how fucked up the people who knew all along would be?

[-] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Republicans hid Reagan's dementia, but his dementia left him passive and submissive.

Biden did not have dementia, but he certainly had severe cognitive decline.

[-] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

And he’s president. With nobody willing to remove him.

Useless excuse. Aww, poor man blew up the works. Wasn’t his fault, it was dementia.

[-] Murse@slrpnk.net 7 points 3 days ago

We can assess his brain for abnormalities during autopsy. Until then, continue to treat him as the domestic enemy to the Constitution, war criminal, rapist, and con artist that he is.

[-] BillyClark@piefed.social 12 points 3 days ago

If we don't hurry up and put him in prison, he might not even understand why he's there.

[-] GuyFawkesV@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

At this point I’d be fine with that. The needs of the many to see justice outweigh anything for him.

[-] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

Dementia I can sympathize with.

It's the felonies, rape, and probable pedophilia that grind my gears.

[-] Soulphite@reddthat.com 9 points 3 days ago

What?! Nuh uh. trump told us all he is of sound body and mind. 6foot3inches, 220 pounds of solid athletic prowess. This just can't be. Dr. Vin Gupta will be disappeared, unfortunately.

We going to get PEDOnald workout-in-jeans videos next? 🤣

[-] notwhoyouthink@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 days ago

Oh fucking hell. And I thought I’d never see anything worse than his face superimposed on Rambo’s body.

[-] hateisreality@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

All the biglyest and people are saying the best signs of dementia.

[-] WolfmanEightySix@piefed.social 1 points 2 days ago

Starting how long ago?

[-] Treczoks@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

And he took this long to notice it?
