US President Donald Trump has told the "crazy bastards" in Iran to open the "fuckin' Strait" of Hormuz or face "hell" in an expletive-laden Truth Social rant.

He signed off the post with "Praise be to Allah".

It's strange, as swearing is actually not like him. If religious right actually had morals they would be truly upset with him praising Allah on Easter.

How funny would it be if this was actually his account getting hacked by the Iranians and they posted it to make the entire administration shit their fucking pants that they've been hacked or have a mole or something and that every device the president touches is potentially compromised?

His account has been taken over multiple times at this point. The pw was something stupid easy to guess like "maga2020" last time it happened.

Read it again in Steve miller's cucky voice and it makes sense

Bastards as a pejorative is a very Trump turn of phrase. I think he uses it as the 'height' but it still be considered polite speach, or at least, speach which doesn't contain vulgarian mannerisms.

I don't mean truly polite or kind speach, I mean the culture of polity and adherence to social norms, where you can be a racist piece of shit but if you say it without swearing, it's considered polite.

The Fucken' is.. completely out of place. It would almost be worth searching an archive because they do seem to think of certain words being off limits.

I agree they feel different, in my opinion the difference between Bastard and the use of Fucking here is people usually use "Bastard" to punch down at others whereas people usually use "Fucking" as an attempt to punch up at an overwhelming force or entity.

In otherwords, it feels off for Trump to say "Fucking" because it comes off like somebody who has lost it trying to open a door and is now screaming at the door saying "Open this fucking door!" in a tantrum.

It doesn't feel off for Trump to use "Bastard" because it is much more commonly used to assert power by punching down, the entire origin of the word being a label used to punch down at "illegitimate" children.

The established decorum doesn't care about the President looking violent, it cares about the President looking weak by resorting to language "weak" powerless people use.

To the Trump mindset, weakness is guilt.

That's a perfect highlight of the difference thank you.

The whole world can see this and form a view of Donald Trump and the USA. He's really a textbook case of an American having no clue how they look to everyone else. This isn't the look of a strong leader who's in control, and taunting your enemy by making fun of their religion will not win you any sympathy or any advantage. Trump has never looked so desperate.

[-] liking625@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

what does he need to say/do so everyone around him realizes he is not a functional human being and take action to remove him? Greed > humanity in the US gov?

[-] geneva_convenience@lemmy.ml 6 points 1 week ago

Surely if he rapes kids on a pedo island everyone will turn against him.

[-] PolandIsAStateOfMind@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 week ago

Just one more No Kings parade, just one more, i swear.

[-] tryagain@sopuli.xyz 22 points 1 week ago

He's going to order a nuke, I can feel it. And maybe they'll stop him, or maybe they'll let him do it and then remove him. He lost control a while ago.

[-] Whitebrow@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago

I think the latter scenario is more likely. Then they can claim “look, we got rid of the guy that did it” and continue with whatever agenda the actual folks in charge are following with a new figurehead.

[-] GardenGeek@europe.pub 8 points 1 week ago

He would've been stopped during Trump I. That's why he's now in Trump II relying on yes-men without at least a bit of competence on their resorts.

[-] FatVegan@leminal.space 7 points 1 week ago

Let's just hope it blows up in the silo at least.

[-] Napster153@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago

He was never in control, and Americans needs to realise that nothing short of dissolution of the administration down to state level is probably going to solve this.

[-] tryagain@sopuli.xyz 1 points 1 week ago

In one sense, "Trump Derangement Syndrome" is real because Project 2025 is trucking along but everyone gets hung up on stupid orange man.

[-] dhork@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

Wasn't a general forced to retire last week? I wonder if we get a few more, until they find someone willing to give that order.

[-] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago

There is a very high chance a US nuke would fallout over Israel. So, very high chance.

[-] anarchiddy@lemmy.dbzer0.com 22 points 1 week ago

Unironically the funniest post he's had since getting banned from Twitter

Praise be to Allah

[-] HiddenLayer555@lemmy.ml 8 points 1 week ago

I'm sure all the Iranian officials are on Truth Social. Yeah, that's the platform of choice to get through to them.

[-] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 week ago

Someone please show this wannabee mob boss the door.

[-] Tangentism@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

He needs to be removed under the 25th amendment.

He's obviously very ill and not in control of his facilities.

The sad fact about that is he will never see a jail cell

[-] Agent641@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

Oh, that was real?
