Ice has virtually unlimited money and complete intelligence, which is to say informational intelligence, not actual intelligence obviously. A few disparate Marines on their own do not stand a chance without organization behind them.
Ice is already around $170 billion, which is roughly three times the budget of the Marine corps.
Most people can't understand just how much money that is. $40 billion of that is going to building new detention centers and various kinds of concentration camps. That's about $7m per ICE employee every year.
And they have been wasting no time on spending it. They've been hiring and buying Americans' data and arming themselves.
Not a Marine, but I do know they place a lot of value on loyalty.
