Privacy is one of the main reasons I pirate. Neither mullvad nor theindex.moe can possibly release my private info, because they don't have my private info

We’re considering canceling Crunchyroll, And adding it as an Apple TV channel.

Benefits: Billing through Apple, send Apple pays Crunchyroll. Family sharing — wife and I both have separate access, plus other members of our family can also access it. Not through profiles, true separate access. We don’t have access to each other’s viewing history. And further integration with the Apple TV platform.

Problems: I’m not seeing any. Depends on the Apple ecosystem, maybe? We’re all in it though. And even if you’re an Android/Windows user, the Apple TV box is kind of a no brainer as the only set top box without ads. It’s just a grid of icons. Is the dumbest smart TV platform and that’s what I like about it.

The only issue is apple doesn't let you use Chromecast with their app on android phones.

I think the main difference is that you can't subscribe under a different plan (including annual billing for $100 for the year instead of $10/month). Not sure what the higher tier subscriptions are good for, either, though.
