I want to get on antidepressants but I'm worried that the sadness will just be replaced with me spending the rest of my life pissed off I wasted so many years being miserable.
I mean, try them. I did and i quit -- i guess my melancholy isn't that bad, and i didn't love the way antidepressants made me feel.
but you should try it for yourself and decide for you. They legitimately make you happier, and like millions and millions of people have started medication and felt it was the best decision of their life.
