I’m learning Norwegian and seeing a volleyball game at my school.

Working on my new top priority. Which will likely become unimportant and I’ll have another top priority that I must do immediately.

This will continue until my boss’s adderall wears off or he runs out of Claude tokens.

Not much besides my regular routine. National strike (including railway and metro) today, so I switched my WFH schedule to not go to work. After work probably just the usual, video games, keep learning French, etc...

I was quite snowed under with work, but managed to set time aside for crossfit and Japanese practice!

Putting the kid to bed right now.

I just harvested my first hybrid pepper:

Yellow bell pepper x dedo-de-moça. Almost all attributes are exactly what I wanted: the extremely mild heat, elongated shape, intermediate size (see pen for size). And the inside is really fleshy, barely any loss. I wanted them to be yellow and a bit sweeter, but I can fix this in future generations.

I also managed to cross-breed chocolate-coloured habanero with some "tree pepper" I got. I have no idea on the variety of the later, but it has a huge yield, so I want its genes. (This would sound dirty in another context, I know.)

Eventually I'll cross both hybrids, I think I can get lemon yellow peppers this way. The so-called "chocolate" is a red pepper that didn't lose the chlorophyll when ripening; the gene can be combined with the yellow gene from the above. Then I'll have four colours at disposal (lemon yellow, "normal" yellow, red, chocolate).

Sadly I couldn't graft my lemon tree today. Or rather I didn't want to, with the drizzle outside.

My mother painted my nails and now I will probably continue creating a character sheet in LibreOffice for D&D.

Prepared a dedicated Project Zomboid server for a few friends and I to play on, but before testing I got distracted and started making a proper implementation of running PZ through systemd. I'm picky when it comes to how services are run, even if it's through wine and steam and hundreds of other abstractions.

Makes sense in the long run, as the plan is to only have the game server running a few hours on a fixed schedule per week, so that we all can set aside one evening for it. We're all adults with kids and family obligations, so we concluded that it was best to have it on an automated schedule so one of us doesn't loot the entire map before the rest have barely found the time to play.

Now I'm sitting in discord waiting for the others to come online so we can test the entire setup and the world settings. In the meantime I'm typing this, while watching a 3d print in the works (just a mundane test-print, nothing exciting).

Work then probably sleep since it'll be too cold for a walk. Wake up for a bit, eat dinner, then go back to sleep.

Not too much to be honest. Work is slow so I'm idling right now, but I plan on working on some music later, maybe drum some. Dinner's made, so I'm mostly just gonna chill and recover for tomorrow's workday.

Making duck stock! So it's mostly topping up the water because the stove runs hot.
