You act like this is something new. The last time the US declared war was during WW2. During Korea we suffered a sneak attack in leu of declaring war. After Vietnam, Congress passed a law requiring congressional approving for any war the President plunged us into after the 90 day mark which didn't really reign in the Presidency since if he orders us to attack a country, we're in a war at that point. Can't just back out.

We tore up the Iran nuclear deal for a reason, the US wants war not peace.
The turnip wants a war to try and take over the election...the mass majority of the US opposes this war.
The US has a party to attacking Iran since WW2 and we've been meddling in Oil rich countries just as long. That this has anything to do specifically with Trump or Epstein or elections is a wild assertion.
Also, there's literally no pathway for the President or Federal government to take over elections, even in an emergency. Repeating it over and over again is just normalizing the idea.
