Similar to Trump’s first term, when they separated families at the border as an intimidation tactic or “punishment” for people crossing the border.

If it wasn’t cruel, they wouldn’t be doing it.

To add to this, the bigortry is only to mollify a third of the country who are fanatically adhered to the idea thatthe ruling class is perfect and everyone else is bad. The real reason they're doing it is so they can create a racket themselves like the one they're describing. My small business got nailed when they claimed there was a bunch of fraud and handed off VA payment processing from the VA themselves to an unregulated mafia called "Triwest." Triwest's job is to lose invoices and keep the money the VA gave them to give to service providers. They have friends who want this business and want to run a con while the feds look the other way.

It's already difficult enough for my useless ass to stay alive as it is. Then there's these assholes trying to make it harder. I'm so close to just giving up. (I'll be losing the Medicaid I JUST finally got in 2028, anyway.) This broken body was not made for this world. Ugh. I'm so done.
