Each and every time I see Kissingers name in an article title, for the briefest of moments I’m filled with hope, and each and every time I am disappointed to not see the words “has died” immediately after
Sorry to disappoint. I would have preferred that article too, except we'll get endless praise from right-wing fucknuts when it happens. They'll deify the bastard.
Of course they will, but it will still make me a little happy once he stops outliving people that deserve death much less than he does
The secret to long life was the blood of the innocent all along.
That war criminal deserves way more than a confrontation.
Dump his ass on the tarmac of a Laos airport and then fly away.
How the hell is this man still alive
His cold, black heart never started beating to begin with.
No kidding, dude is legit 100 years old...
The fundamental injustice inherent to existence.
Sith clone.
Somehow, Kissinger returned
Dude is king of the ghouls, Behind the Bastards had a super in depth 5 or 6 part series about this monstrosity.
They will have to bury this fucker in an unmarked grave. The line of people who will piss on it is miles and miles and miles long.
Just piss? Where's the line for the other stuff?
Nice.
You could have read this article years ago. Its not like it hasn't happened before.
It hasn't happened often enough.
To what end
If you don't understand journalists holding people to account for their misdeeds, I'm not sure how to explain it to you.
How many years that he's never been held accountable
By whom? Do you think journalists have the power to prosecute him for war crims?
No I do not. Neither does anyone else far as I can see. BTW, his war crimes were mostly against his own people.
Yes, the Laotians and Cambodians were definitely his own people. For sure. He's half Lao and half Camboian.
While he was pissing around, 20,000 US troops died. I believe you're thinking of Nixon who was Commander in Chief.
No I'm not.
The German-born political scientist joined the Nixon administration in 1969 as the president's national security advisor and was promoted to secretary of state in 1973. As the primary architect of the American bombing and invasion of Cambodia, Kissinger believed that these actions were necessary to prevent both Cambodia and South Vietnam from falling to communism.

Fucking sad how people don't know history that recent.
Lived it mate, and am well aware that his advice couldn't be followed without Nixon.
Sorry... you're saying he isn't a war criminal because he didn't make the final decision even though he planned the whole thing? Really?
Is Dick Cheney innocent despite being the architect of two wars that killed millions of people because George W. Bush had to say yes?
No, I'm saying he isn't the war criminal you think he is. Just as Dick Cheney, who can be accused of many things, didn't make the decision to invade Iraq. Bush did.
Are you really saying Dick Cheney isn't a war criminal? This is insane.
I said dick Cheney could be accused of many things, but giving orders to invade Iraq isn't one of them.
Except that's exactly what he did. He was the architect. Architects don't build houses, but it's ultimately their design. If something goes wrong with the design, it's not the construction company's fault. You seem to think that if a house collapses because it was designed to be structurally unsound, it's the fault of the person who bought the land.
There would have been no secret bombing campaign if not for Kissinger and we wouldn't have invaded Iraq without Cheney. They are absolutely, unequivocally war criminals.
It is the fault of the person who ordered the house built.
Because architects who design flawed buildings are blameless?
Now entering NaNa land.
The president is responsinle for the decisions made and the orders given.
So absolutely no one else is ever responsible for anything that the U.S. ever does except whoever is president at the time. That is your assertion.
If it's a military order from the President, no.
So only 45 people have ever been responsible for anything the U.S. military has ever done?
The Commander in Chief
Got it, so based on this, the Nuremberg trials were a great injustice and not a single Nazi official should have been hanged since not a single one of them was responsible for anything in WWII- not the war, not the Holocaust. Just Hitler. Solely responsible.
Nazis in Nuremberg were tried for crimes against humanity not war crimes. Different.
Ah, so Kissinger is guilty of crimes against humanity. Got it.
Could be. The UN is the first place you have to get agreement, the the International Court. Go for it.
Now you're trying to weasel out of the question. I think what this is actually about is you have some weird respect for Kissinger and don't think he did anything wrong when he illegally bombed two countries and killed thousands of innocent people.
In many decades’ time, when the “is Kissinger even in this damn thing” cartoon meme has kept reemerging for each famous obituary, people will get increasingly suspicious.
Kick him in the nuts.
