What about full coloured JoyCon 2? Like we had for original JoyCon. Not happy with just a slight border and ring having different colours.

Third-party companies are going to make so much money on vinyl wraps and case mods.

People bought so many JoyCon because of colours, they should realise they'll be missing money like that.

I really feel like they'd have done a Funtastic series again if they actually truly cared about making money from colors.

These seem a little pointless when you can barely only see color under the analog stick. Unless you detach them from the console, but even then don't they want you to reattach them to the grip thingies?

I gotta admit, I actually really like these. But for $100 I think I'd only ever buy them as a replacement.

I mean it's a start, but those aren't colours I'd get.

These look pretty cool. I wish they tried experimenting with non-grey colours for the full shell, like the fun Nintendo Switch Lite and much of their previous consoles/handhelds (see GameCube, Game Boy and friends, etc.)

I hope they eventually do maybe a special edition with the full shell (Switch and Joy-Cons), similar to what they did with Mario, Zelda, and Animal Crossing for the Joy-Cons and dock. That would be pretty cool.

As others have said, full-colour Joy-Cons would also be quite nice. I think there should be an option between the "accent ring" colourways and the "full colour" ones, depending on whether you want to be boring or fun. Preferably the latter, but boring colours (and being boring in general) is "premium" nowadays unfortunately.

I am going to call it "boring premium" colour from now on. And yeah, full colours shell will be cool, though I don't buy multiple consoles, so won't be for me but I know many people who would jump on the chance.

My only reasoning for this is they may be worried about kids accidentally grabbing switch 1 joy cons and trying to use shove them in with the new switch. ( I know my niece just keeps all her stuff thrown in a box) Also to maybe avoid parents buying the wrong things for their kids.

They likely want to give an easy clear visual distinction between a switch joycon and a switch 2 joycon, until more people move over to the switch 2.

Ooh yeah that could be a thing. Like how the Switch 2 game card box is red

I don't like grey though :(
