Has he done anything to raise that sentiment, I saw some news that some people at apple are celebrating his departure because his liquid glass design was considered as gimmicky visuals over actual usable improvements

Conveniently, the "Gl" in "Glass" was too blurry to read in one of the YouTube thumbnails for the original announcement, thus giving out the true name the style was being called internally before release
