Reminds of a South Park game where the difficulty slider is the character skin color slider

[-] cRazi_man@europe.pub 47 points 2 days ago

I don't like games in which difficulty can't be changed down the line and death is permanent......and there's too much RNG.

[-] SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world 18 points 2 days ago

You can ignore the RNG if you're rich, beautiful or talented.

[-] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 11 points 2 days ago

If you have at least one of the first two you don't need the third one.

[-] Mirshe@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

Hell, if you have the first one at a certain level, you can ignore the other two just fine. Money covereth a multitude of sins.

The or implies that you only need one of the three.

[-] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 days ago

But the third one is the only one with actual value.

There's plenty of rich or beautiful people getting on just fine.

[-] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 6 points 2 days ago

I'll specify: It's the only one with value to society.

Society has decided that being rich or beautiful has a value to it as well though.

[-] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 days ago

Objective value, not subjective.

Objective vs subjective is completely irrelevant it's still value in the eyes of society.

[-] cRazi_man@europe.pub 6 points 2 days ago

That's part of the RNG and the predetermined difficulty setting.

12 people can't understand the word easier.

[-] 1985MustangCobra@lemmy.ca 7 points 2 days ago

yes....this is how you solve problems.

[-] CileTheSane@lemmy.ca 3 points 22 hours ago

I know every time I see a comic posted in a comic strip community my first question is "does this comic solve a problem?"

[-] DomeGuy@lemmy.world 27 points 1 day ago

Correct.

Pointing out that way too many things are simply harder for Americans who appear black is called "recognizing that there is a problem", which most adults agree is the very first step to solving problems.

[-] 1985MustangCobra@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 day ago

i agree recognizing the problem is crucial, but this meme just ruins the chance of that happening.

[-] andros_rex@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago

Nah, I think you just don’t want to acknowledge racism exists.

[-] 1985MustangCobra@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 day ago

that was a thought experiment. ofc racism exists. Right now in canada its mostly against south-asian people (Indian). The shit i see people say about them is disgusting.

Vancouver or Toronto? Because as a french Canadien I feel like we aren't that picky when it comes to racism. Hell even being french Canadian is still offensive in the prairies.

[-] 1985MustangCobra@lemmy.ca 1 points 23 hours ago

look outside lemmy and everything right now thats a problem in canada is TFW or indians fault.

[-] UnrepententProcrastinator@lemmy.ca 2 points 22 hours ago

I don't think social media is a good metric.

[-] 1985MustangCobra@lemmy.ca 1 points 22 hours ago

it kinda is though, considering the userbase and what shit they espout from their mouth.

[-] DomeGuy@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago

How so?

The comic looks like a pretty clear joke that identified the issue in a straightforward issue.

[-] 1985MustangCobra@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 day ago

you know this was made to piss off the other side.
