Skyrim modders when a rape victim doesn't want to have sex with them
It all boils down to whether you believe the art is born in the hands of artists or the eyes of the beholder.
To me, do whatever you please! Marry her, draw rule34, make her a zombie, whatever. The original creation is still there, no one's forcing the unofficial changes. The author is only responsible for the original work.
And Serana herself is just bits of code. Her marrying or not marrying you is all puppeteering either way, and no one gets hurt by that.

See, I know this and yet she still made me feel like a piece of shit.
There's (what I assume is) a glitch in a certain area. You lure a priest into a basement to sacrifice him to molag bal. If you take serana there, she will cower on the altar, like the priest does just before he is sacrificed. Maybe it's just an automatic thing for followers to facilitate the quest, but I had her with me and holy shit. Considering her history it's especially fucked up.
Marriage system was kinda lame in Skyrim imo. It isn't even that Serana rejects you, she's just not one of the three or so random NPCs that you have little to no reason to interact with besides attempting to marry (exception for Lydia), so you can't even try.
That drug dealer woman who was into interracial sex was the best choice ez
Who the hell is this lmao
Ysolda
Isn't she the one that falls madly in love with the player if they foist a mammoth tusk upon her? I remember her being a bitch to Carlotta, which puts her on the same level as Nazeem.
Marry Sylgja and there's no need to mod anything, she's perfect as-is.
Use console commands that come with the game to turn her into your fearless, amoral, undying battle companion. Now she's extra perfect.
Don't respect the wishes of the female character, instead respect the wishes of the, presumed to be, male writer. I see you.
Nords aren't people. No rights.
More like "Serana doesn't even exist IRL"
sorry fanboys
I don't know if it was a bug or not but I remember on the 360 version of Skyrim you could marry her, though I think she needed to be cured of vampirism or something. Probably screwed up the flags in game since to convince her to get cured you have to cure yourself which is annoying and you'd only due if you get turned before dawnguard, hell knowing Bethesda games it may very well be in the PC version but nobody goes down that route so it's just been forgotten.
Who knows maybe I'll fire up my 360 and upload that shit to YouTube or something.
I've never heard of that bug. I know you can marry Aela, and if you do marry her you can convince her to give up lycanthropy. If you don't marry her, you can't convince her.
Yeah if I had to guess it's less of a bug and more of an oversight. I think they forgot human Serana can marry when they stripped it from Vampire Serana. If that seems weird I wouldn't be surprised if the two versions are effectively different NPCs with a shared dialogue tree. Though I have no clue if you could even do this weirdness on the original PC or PS3 versions of Skyrim.
I always hated that bitch anyways. She made Lydia go home 😠
Yeah! She was sworn to carry my burdens! I have a lot of burdens to carry, who's gonna help me with all these burdens?!?
