I have actually been told by multiple trump voters that they know he lies. Nothing he says can be trusted. They know this full and well... And that's fine because you just have to trust that his actions will be best for the country. Just don't listen to him...
I just find that such a wild take for someone in a position so powerful that his words alone can easily start wars or get people killed or just make eggs 84x more expensive.

The one that bothers me the most is this one:
Require all schools that receive federal funding to give students the military entrance test.
That's the first step towards required service, and will likely be used as a means of eugenics as well.
I'll always remember on here when, during the election, I was talking about how bad Project 2025 was and how terrifying it was. I then had several folks say simultaneously that Project 2025 was nothing to be afraid of (was a boogeyman that they wanted me to be afraid of) and that Biden had already actually implemented about 80% of it. Crazy stuff.
Project 2025 was always Trump's plan and I wish the media, and people like the commenters I mentioned, would have done better at understanding how bad it was and how his supposed distancing was all fucking BS.
Huh, in just over a year, it went from "liberal conspiracy theory" to talk about the published Project 2025 - as in, you could download the document and read this supposed "conspiracy theory" - to this.
How long until we see him embracing the Russian "hoax"? Or the Epstein "hoax"?
