It's like Grindr to find other men but location based on a map.

I can't tell if you're being serious

[-] return2ozma@lemmy.world 10 points 1 week ago

I'm serious. It's NSFW if you Google it.

[-] calliope@retrolemmy.com 3 points 1 week ago

Definitely serious!

It is described in the article as a “cruising” app.

“Cruising” is a term usually referring to anonymous gay men hooking up.

"it's a map of dick" is the tagline I think

Sure would be awful if somebody fired up a bunch of phone emulators with that app and spoofed the GPS readings to send the cops on a wild gays chase.

Just. Awful.

And of course while they're wasting their time baiting non-violent people they don't like into bullshit arrests, actual violent people are assaulting and groping people on trains and not being caught by these stupid lazy cowards, but you better believe they'll use stories about those assaults to ask lawmakers for even more money for this stupid fucking bullshit

Maybe you shouldnt be having sex in a public bathroom. You are denying others of those spaces which they pay for with their taxes. If you are homeless then maybe you should have other priorities before having sex with strangers, which you shouldn't be doing anyways because you will likely spread pathogens. A better way to do it is to focus on your life first, then find someone to date mostly monogamously. Being gay doesn't matter. There is nothing wrong with that, but you should still be clean and considerate of other people within reason. Having sex within more serious relationships is a good idea for many reasons. It has nothing to do with religion or anything like that. It's just hygiene and looking out for others. Risky sexual cultures hurt their own communities far more than anything else. Just because you think someone is attractive and it's available doesn't mean you have to have sex with that person. You can choose to enjoy sex in a healthy way if you want to.

Okay, so this conversation might be a little more productive if you learned to read.

“There are other instances where officers will approach someone who’s at a urinal, the officer will touch himself or will just peer at the person, and if the person — who is there just trying to pee — responds in any way, that person is then arrested or at least charged with lewdness,”

It's not about "having sex in a public bathroom", it's about harassing people to make a quota of arrests.

Hmm that seems crazy if true. Also that is entrapment.

Literally literal fascism, you guys

Having police in public transit makes it less safe not more safe and this is why
