There is some good advice and clear eyed thinking in this article. I wish more people would start internalizing this:

Trump’s chief goal is to make us doubt ourselves and resent each other. Resolving misunderstandings and conflicts is a fundamental part of resistance.

Present criticisms in good faith, holding open the door for those who are currently your rivals to eventually become allies, provided that they learn to conduct themselves responsibly. Those spreading divisiveness and toxicity are doing the work of the state.

Yeah I was at a rally when ice stepped into our town and some of the folks where quick to talk about other people in personal terms. Its hard to explain honestly as its sorta a feeling. Like a lady came through and asked a person to move which they did but then having plenty of room asked another person to move (which they did) and it was like wtf. I joined in to complain about the obvious fact that she was looking to more make trouble than move through but then some others started talking about them and how they act and its like I just want to stick to the behavior. Another time an old guy asked about permit and im like why. And he was like for protesting and I was like. Im an american and the right to protest is in the constitution. and he said fuck off or you or whatever. I talked about how quickly he got to the maximum capacity of his discourse and cognitive thinking but did not want to go into what else he might be like or what type of person he is.
