these people are so volatile and fragile, bless their pedophile hearts

Un. Fucking. Believable.

Id expect nothing less from a man who dogged a draft by faking bone spurs and who’s only able to be an alpha when he’s raping innocent young children.

Pathetic.

Protestors need to know how to contact their local ACLU. If you're doing this level of protest, probably should preemptively havea contact with them and memorize the contact phone number

[-] frustrated_phagocytosis@fedia.io 7 points 1 month ago

The ACLU will probably be charged alongside any protesters anyway, just to eliminate using them for legal counsel under the guise of "because I said so" and Judge Cannon et al will just accept it

Last time I checked the constitution is still in effect

Don't be intimidated by the Trump administration. That only does them a favor.

Last time I checked the constitution is still in effect

Last time I checked, it's not self-enforcing.

[-] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 month ago

No but we can enforce it

[-] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 1 month ago

last time i check the gop, see it as a meaningless piece of paper.

Depends on the judge. But yes every one of these infringements should be fought.

[-] quick_snail@feddit.nl 4 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Also National Lawyers Guild. Write their phone number on your arm in sharpie before protests

This is going to be the golden age of jury nullification.

[-] PanGodofPanic 22 points 1 month ago

It already is, there's been a shocking and historically unprecedented number of grand jury "no bill"s recently in DC and LA when prosecutors try to indict random protestors with felonies, which is incredible since those are basically unheard of.

[-] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 4 points 1 month ago

its also performative to satiate the republican masses, to look "strong".

[-] p3n@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Yes. I think people are wise to the fact that the simple potential of facing charges is the threat that is supposed to intimidate and suppress opposition. Tying someone's life up in a trial that has no chance of seeing a guilty verdict is the actual punishment they are aiming for because they know they have no legal standing.

[-] smeenz@lemmy.nz 3 points 1 month ago

I also watched legal eagle

[-] Mamdani_Da_Savior@lemmy.world 10 points 1 month ago

Its not even jury nullifcation, its grand jury nullifcation in many cases.

[-] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

jury of your peers is a jury of your peers, i don't care how they nullify unjust charges

[-] mkwt@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

The petit jury nullification is coming. You've got defendants in DC insisting on their speedy trial rights because they want to get themselves on front of a jury right now in the present moment.

[-] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 31 points 1 month ago

what is the charge? interrupting a meal? a succulent chinese meal?

[-] DJDarren@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

~~chinese~~ burger meal

[-] Naia 2 points 1 month ago

They criticized/disagreed with him and it hurt is fee fees.

Because they are all the real snowflakes.

The GOP needs to pass emergency legislation - Immediate life sentences without trial for anyone that hurts Trump's dainty little feelings.

After years of saying "Fuck your feelings" to "snowflake" liberals, Maga and Trump keep proving themselves to be the most delicate little snowflakes on the planet. Every fucking thing the GQP and Maga says is projection.

[-] surph_ninja@lemmy.world 16 points 1 month ago

We tried to tell y’all that the RICO prosecution attempt against Cop City protestors was a test and attempt at setting precedent.

[-] Archangel1313@lemmy.ca 14 points 1 month ago

Aaww. The tough guy is really just a widdle pussy.

[-] aeternum 14 points 1 month ago

It's fucking hilarious that this fat oaf is acting the way he says the libs act: that is, someone with their fee fees hurt. Fuck dumpy.

[-] Naia 9 points 1 month ago

Every accusation from a conservative/fascist is a confession. Every. Single. Time.

[-] schema@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

I wish the irony of him proving the protesters right by doing this wasn't completely lost on that dumbfuck.
