For politicians, you don’t need facts, you only need boogeymen. The excuse doesn’t even need to be true. DC crime is too high: send the military to DC. 1 of 1000 shooters is (maybe) trans: put all trans people in prison.

What does this say an immigrant has a permit? If you'd whipe out the cartels how much drugs would still be entering the US? How many gringos work for smuggling? The article is implying something that doesn't work when you deconstruct the language used. Immigrants meant to imply Mexicans? Yes? No? What is a US citizen anyway?
