For weeks, Trump and members of his administration, some of whom spread anti-Democratic conspiracy theories about Epstein, have been trying to quiet the MAGA base after the FBI declared there was no client list and that the disgraced financier died by suicide. The same manosphere that boosted Trump isn’t letting his administration off the hook on Epstein, even as Trump has tried to dismiss the whole thing as a hoax.

The young men in his base aren't doing better economically, and also feel stabbed in the back by Trump's refusal to RELEASE UNREDACTED COPIES OF THE EPSTEIN FILES.

Sadly this just means Trump wasn't far right enough for them. They'll listen to whichever Nazi sounds "bout right" to them next and it'll just go on and on like this until...

What are they gonna do? Not vote for him again? I don't think Trump gives a shit.

Cry me a fucking river and drown in it.

I'm fairly young myself, 33. College years are still somewhat fresh in my mind. I like to think of young people as really open-minded and enlightened. But young people are also fucking idiots and very impressionable. Check out the YouTube channel "ranting for vengeance" to see a teenager who is mind-bogglingly ignorant. Who raised this fucker? I hate to insult a child, but man, this kid is so prejudiced it will render you speechless.

Not gonna give them views.

I mean... cool, I guess. Kinda too late to make any difference, though. The time to figure out Trump was a narcissistic tyrant was before voting for him.

No it's not. We've seen headlines for 10 years saying this or that group are starting to sour on Trump, and yet here we are.

Right now, their "declining" support is based solely on the Epstein files. Which means that they'll continue to support fascists as soon as Rogan, Peterson, etc al, can convince them that the Epstein files have been released and were never that interesting, or that maybe we'll never see the Epstein files but that's old news and something else is way more important now.

My bet is on the latter, since that's just a matter of less time spent talking about the Epstein files and more time spent talking about [distraction].

In my opinion, don't blame the young voters for their choice. At least not entirely. They've been getting spoon fed propaganda by the internet, their parents, and the news their entire lives. Blame the parents that made everything their kids were doing a political issue from the moment they were conceived. Blame the platforms that have been incentivizing hate on their platforms for money. Blame the corporations that have been actively brainwashing people since the era of social media began. Blame the news for never telling the truth and making everything a spectacle.

People have agency. Don’t take that away from them.

The flip side of this is that it has to be praiseworthy to pass through that gauntlet and still care about other people. Eclusively negative incentives don't work.

lol “voters”

This would matter if they voted, but since they don't, who cares?
