Well in the "the real treasure is the friends we made along the way" I'd say the real villain of the show is fear. Catra is afraid of loss, Shadow Weaver is scared of rejection, Hordak is scared of failure. Almost all of the bad guys in the show are redeemed when they realize they can be courageous and stand together with friends instead of lashing out

i shall consider this a joke but also shadow weaver isnt scared of rejection like at all? the most charitable take you can have is that she want her "tribe" to be powerful so threats are neutralized

She gets rejected by the other sorcerers for practicing forbidden magic, she gets rejected by Adora which was the closest thing she had to a daughter, and she gets rejected by Hordak and Catra for not being good enough. Her final moment of redemption is when she embraces the two people who have rejected her the most. She doesn't cry in a corner or whimper about her fear but instead lashes out in anger and violence trying to hurt other people before they hurt her

she gets rejections /=/ has fear of rejection. if she had a fear of rejection she wouldn't have been an asshole u know, this conclusion doesnt seem to come from anything so idek how to disprove it

she was never redeemed, she did what she had to for her ideal of freeing magic so the magic is protected. she didn't ever seem to care much about her death in the service of her ideal, nor did she care about other's wellbeing or reactions to what she did to get there.

She was afraid of being weak, causing her to seek power at all costs. She didn't care about rejection, it almost made her fear vindicated.

a lot of these evil types happen to have this mindset of "im right and cursed with the true knowledge, that all other reject" "i know its true bc others reject it"
