most furries are normal about their hobby is the overall point here, and one that i have seen spread like wildfire online the last 5 or so years. i have seen furry posts on TikTok receive a ton of attention and all the comments are some variation of "why did people hate furries?" or "furries seem cool." it might be cringey but being cringe is not embarrassing anymore. catch up. it's freeing.
I was gonna write a response to this but it was pretty much just a rephrase of my other response. tl;dr I don't hate furries as mentioned and idc if you're amongst the "normal about their hobby" crowd but in more than one instance I've encountered people very not normal about their hobby and I choose not to associate with them. 🤷🏾♂️
