I have 5 cases to get ready for presentation to City Council next Thursday. It's also my first Council meeting since I've been promoted and it's my turn, according to my director, to present two of them. I want to focus and get all my ducks in a row but also try to avoid the paralysis of perfectionism haha

On a happy note, the incredible folks of this community inspired me to set some hard boundaries with friends who were weighing heavy on my heart and mind, the relief has been so noticeable, I'm beyond grateful!

I'm a bit over two weeks behind in my journal, I had a pet die and some other stuff and just lost motivation. I'm gonna catch up on it!

Ugh, I have to work on my car. She died on me after the cap for the coolant tank popped off, and now I have to spend tonight diagnosing the problem or towing her to a mechanic :(

I've got a load of work to do this week for work, I'm gonna get that sorted. It's boring admin work but needs doing!

I have an enormous backlog at work so I've been psyching myself up since the weekend to get a lot of shit done today.

As soon as I arrived at the office, the faces of my coworkers told me it would not be a typical calm day. Network and connectivity issues galore on one of the busiest days of the month. Welp, guess that backlog is gonna have to stay "back" for a while longer.

I'm gonna fill my weekly pill minder and make where I'm sleeping more comfortable.
