Considering their negotiation has been:

"We want you to stop existing."

Yeah, that's not a negotiating tactic.

[-] Maiq@lemy.lol 11 points 13 hours ago

How is Israel ever going to reconcile being the very evil they swore "never again" to?

~~And the DNC thought campaigning with this guy was a good way to shore up support for Harris.~~

Edit: Brainfart, was thinking of Cheney.

Edit2: Second brainfart.

Edit3: Apparently not quite a brainfart.

It's an easy mistake to make when these transparent ghouls all look the same.

What? Graham was bitching about any GOP members supporting Harris till the end. What are you referencing ?

Oh, I must've been thinking of Dick Cheney then. Nevermind.

Dick Cheney never campaigned with Harris either. When someone asked Cheney who he was voting for he said Harris, and Harris said thank you. He never went on any kind of tour, or held rallies or anything to get support for the Democrats, he was just a person responding with his opinion. The fact that people know he's done shit things just made people jump on Harris because she said thank you rather than ignoring it. To her it probably seemed reasonable to say hey, even staunch Republicans are seeing this next regime as a threat. But of course that backfired

Liz Cheney did.

And Dick Cheney endorsed.

Liz Cheney whose entirety of their political reason for being was Dick Cheney.

Harris went on to center Liz in their campaign. It was the dumbest thing on the fucking planet for Harris to do. It was obvious at the time it was the dumbest thing in the world to have accepted/done. In retrospect it's still one of the dumbest things the campaign did.

These apologetics look even worse now, when they looked like like the dumbest thing ever at the time Harris was touring with Cheney.

Stop making excuses for these bad fucking decisions. Stop being an apologist for bad Democrats who do stupid fucking shit like accepting a Cheney endorsement. Shit like this is why Harris lost. Don't be an apologist for it.

"Guys, we don't need an energized base of passionate and informed voters looking for something to devote themselves to. We need to attract people who still support war criminals like Bush and Cheney"
