Yeah this is just sad. IMO it needs to be reported because chatbots put a whole new spin* on a phenomenon that ultimately isn't new at all.

* and we should focus most on this aspect. There's no AI because it is NOT intelligent, just artificial. It feeds on "data" on the internet. And that's what it regurgitates. But it's being hyped up in very concrete and dangerous ways.

with the amount of toxicity men are faced with when they try to interact, the omnipresent "yeah, men are dangerous predators" and other prejudices being common and generally accepted by everyone - choosing a Chatbot to open up and talk is a reasonable escape for those men who just want to dump their feelings, worries and thoughts.

Because a chatbot won't judge you by them. It won't blackmail you afterwards. It won't dump you because of them. It won't send death threats or spread word over you. Maybe it will even offer you options for actual help and.

Anyways - I don't think such a chatbot is the problem. The society that makes people choose a chatbot OVER an actual human being for such things is the problem.

Excluding or harassing ENTIRE gender groups has to stop. And seeing this as "acceptable" behavior should be penalized.

You're absolutely right, people (mostly men, hopefully not most men) should absolutely stop excluding and harassing people for their gender.

Men should really do something about supporting each other and listening without toxicity etc etc male loneliness epidemic....

So are men going to work together on solving this issue or only complain that someone else isn't doing the work for them?

Btw, if you lost friends because they're uncomfortable with men crying (happened to me pre transition) that's on them. If you lose friends because you're looking for emotional support after doing something shitty (I.e. ex friend that confessed sexually assaulting a girl, but he didn't see it that way) that's on you. Dig it?

In conclusion: Be the change you want to see.

Yeah, but if you look at the picture it really is the ChatGPT App and as far as I know there is no way for someone to chat on there with a real human scammer
