i find it funny that i happen to be lgbt but was born in one of the countries that totally hates us. i’m nonbinary [she/he/they] and bi/pan :)

i moved to the us with my family at age 10 in 2013.

Hello! I also was born in Russia, but moved to EU three years ago. There are still a lot of lgbt people there who are in trouble, unfortunately... How's the situation in the US now? Often hear alarming news from there, especially for trans people

как там в европе? and idk, im not openly nonbinary to homophobic people especially, but i worry for the trans people and lgbt as a whole

тут хорошо в этом плане (в Финляндии). i also don't publically advertise that i'm non-binary but a lot of people on the streets don't hesitate to express themselves

I live in Helsinki, and the answer here is yes. Same in many big cities. But rural areas are mostly conservative

in a Russian school, then at work. i'm a programmer, so almost from the very start i had to communicate in English at work
