And somehow this utter trash human thought posting this herself would make her look better.

Shouldn't she be in a kitchen - according to her own views?

[-] BalderSion@real.lemmy.fan 3 points 5 days ago

If she's anything like Phyllis Schlafly, why yes, the moment her husband tells her to get back in the kitchen she absolutely will! Right away! She'll drop everything, her privilege, her power, her perks. Her entire staff will be S.O.L. after just a word from her husband. If he just says the word, why, she wouldn't utter a word of protest. Honest!

I'm often reminded that while Jesus counselled his followers to turn the other cheek, he reviled the hypocrites.

This bitch is psychotic.

She did the same to someone who told her that if it wasn't for DEI/AA, she would have never been allowed to enter The Citadel in the first place. Not shitting on Mace's achievement, she made it, and graduated. But... did they let her because she was the first, as a PR stunt... ?

Mace lost her mind, ranted, and abused the person who mentioned it. But it still stands: if not for those social inclusion initiatives, she would have never been ALLOWED to step foot on the grounds in the first place.

What an absolute piece of shit. Speaking of Mace, of course.

She wasn't even the first admitted, just the first to graduate

Thanks for the correction.

You're welcome! I have a Citadel connection, so I know more about the school's history than I ever cared to learn.

Edit: If I remember correctly, The Citadel was the last military school to admit women. Way to go, South Carolina!

If you think that's bad, wait until you learn that Bob Jones University didn't allow black students until 1971, and didn't allow interracial dating between students until 2000.

Oh, I'm well aware of that despicable school in the Upstate. That whole area is still riddled with prejudice.

[-] Geetnerd@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago

Yep, my mother's side of the family lived there.

I'm sure her daddy didn't intervene at all...

[-] Geetnerd@lemmy.world 23 points 1 week ago

How dare you.

That was unpossible!

It's not DEI when it's nepotism 🧐

[-] Geetnerd@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago

Unfortunately, true.

When they shut down all the asylums 50 years ago, they decided to keep one last one open in DC

Is she seriously wearing those earrings?

It's a trashy move and no reasonable observer will think better of her for sharing it. Should play well with her base though.

[-] MuskyMelon@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago

Nancy Mace, Bobo, and MGT are all furious shadowboxers. They should do us a favor beat themselves in the face ala Fight Club.

[-] conditional_soup@lemm.ee 4 points 1 week ago

Um, these shoes don't come in your size. Your feet are too big.
