kuma(くま) actually means bear in japanese, so the shows title (くまくま bear) littetally translates to bear bear bear.

oh, your right. it should be くまくまくま bear. so it means...bear bear bear...bear? 4 bears? edit: actually its written くまクマ熊ベアー which is 4 different ways to write bear in japanese and now im even more confused, lol.
