Not every system is based completely on greed unlike capitalism. Bernard Mandeville, who was not a communist (and cannot be at all), described the essence of then just beginning capitalism in his book "The Fable of The Bees: or, Private Vices, Publick Benefits" back then in 1714. TLDR: private vices (especially greed) create social benefits .
