I went scuba diving recently and had to sign a form saying that I have never suffered from a range of symptoms in order to participate, and some of them made sense like “unexplained fainting” or “serious heart conditions” but also on the list were “headaches”, “bleeding”, and “dizziness”. I checked off all of them just to not cause any issues but I really felt like the form should have been more specific

I was like halfway through certification when I learnt my constant, unremitting ear pain whilst flying meant I could not clear my ears at depth. That’s a problem, and nobody ever asked about it.

Headaches, no. Fainting, no. But my head will explode at depth, nobody asked. Weird checklist.

I'm sorry, if you ever got a papercut in your life, you can't scuba dive.

"Yes, that's me, the big baby. Now can you help me or not?"

"Did I list stuttering as a symptom?"

I hate the question: "have you ever had bleeding condition?"... Aside from women on their period; Anytime I'm bleeding I would describe that as my condition.

Not a native english speaker, so I have no Idea what I'm talking about but I'd assume this question is more to check for a clotting issue, i.e. Did you have a bleed that just didn't stop.
