There’s no limit on .world, but I’d be cautious. There are so many empty communities that it might be better to acquire one than making a bunch of new ones.

Is there a way to acquire inactive communities? I was not aware of that, or when you mean "acquire" it's like create content on those communities? Because for the bouldering one yes, there is already a community but last time it was active was 2 years ago. And for the cybersecurity ones, I just created them because I am trying to make the transition from Reddit to Lemmy, and these two are quite important to me, though indeed the Reddit communities are already well established, I created them but they are empty, Idk I need to rethink it a little. I think I am doing things wrong

I don't believe there's a limit. My instance certainly doesn't have one. If there's a void and you feel like you'll have a reasonable amount of content to share over time then why not? I've probably made close to ten. Everyone's always saying we need more niche content, right?
Only potential pushback would be that too much of the fediverse is consolidated on lemmy.world as it is and new communities may benefit by being spread out on other instances.
But overall more is always better regardless.

Okay got it! I mean I am not creating the communities mainly to create content myself, of course I like to post and share stuff sometimes, but I am trying to move away from Reddit, but most of the most important communities I have there I cannot find them here. Yup, trust me, we've already been through lots of dead communities being made. I'm not saying you need to directly make the content but find articles, videos, etc. to post still.
You are right!
If you have maybe ten things in mind to start you could spread those out over a week or two and hopefully if it's something you're passionate about you can continue to add to that list. That's how I've been able to grow some of mine. And I continue to be surprised how often that leads to at least one other user posting something fairly quickly.
Like anything consistency is key. More people are joining* the platform all the time and many people browse all by Scaled or New.

Give it time. Continue to contribute here when you can and try to only passively view reddit for those niches. I see the trajectory of this corner of the fediverse (lemmy/mbin/piefed, etc.) and I believe it can only grow. It's come a lomg way since I joined.

It may not be a limit. I just tried to create a community (would be my 2nd) and was able to load the Create Community Page and enter date but clicking create didnt bring up a new page. There might be a bug and i just made another post in Lemmy.world Support
