Everything I’m looking forward to is all in my personal life. We’ll pick up a new furry family member later today and I’m looking forward to getting to know them for example. Looking forward to learning new creative skills I can use as an outlet. Globally speaking I’m currently not optimistic enough to look forward to anything.

Massive ongoing improvements in AI, and hopefully less massive but still impressive improvements in humanoid robots. Both of these will actually happen, unlike a lot of stuff that I and many others would LIKE to have happen.

My eol, tired, in constant pain, extremely bored. Been disabled fory whole life but government says *checks notes fold laundry and work at a phone switchboard, been battling for ss for 10 years. If my mom dies I'm pretty much fucked and homeless and I can barely handle anything now. Just want everything to be done with.

Stay strong, mate. Sounds like you're having a much harder time of it than some of us, but the only thing to do is to survive, and hope for a better tomorrow.

One day at a time.
