Funny how this shithead survived a Biden term, yet Trump was just booting everybody and anybody day 1.

  • Trump fires everyone he wants on day one of his first term, because there's nothing to stop him no matter how stupid the pics are

  • Biden keeps some of them across his entire term, because of vague rules that only he can abide by, for some reason. Even when everyone would love him to remove the evil bastards and would look good for polling.

  • Trump fires everyone he wants on day one of his second term, because there's nothing to stop him no matter how stupid the picks are.

Always weird how the rules are only in place for anything that would benefit the public but aren't there for "I made this EO that personally shoots every kitten in America".

I mean, when you don't give a shit about whether your actions have any basis in legality at all, you can do whatever you want and leave it to others to try and clean up after your decision.

I'm pretty sure that the excellently named beermeister was referring to the fact that Biden DIDN'T do his job of cleaning up the radioactive sludge that is DeJoy being in charge of the USPS.

He had the power to do so legally, but CHOSE not to for 4 years.

The year is ~~2050~~ 2026. The suburban streets, once a place where kids could be seen playing are now devoid of life. The shouts and laughter of children gone.

They have been replaced by roving bands of cyber trucks, carrying mail and parcels for the residents. Honking outside homes to goad the occupants to collect their mail.

But they do not. For they know if they leave their homes, they may be identified as tarmac and run down by the self driving AI.

This is the new world order. This is DOGE.

Bezos already has one.

(And of course there are the older standard corporate ones - UPS and FedEx for example)

Just more wealth redistribution.

Time to build a new republic.

Those mail-in ballots will be fine, I'm sure.

In the past, it's been a very good thing that a US Postmaster is almost impossible to replace. Unfortunately. DeJoy represents what Democrats and Republicans want: something they can sell off to the billionaires at a massive personal profit.

Nancy Pelosi' and Chuck Shumer's stock portfolios will make a KILLING when they privatize this I bet

[-] PurpleSkull@lemm.ee 3 points 22 hours ago

It's heartwarming to see all of Trumps appointees agreeing they REALLY suck ass and have no idea what their agency is actually doing, and thus seek to abolish themselves. From USPS, to Department of Education, to Congress itself.
