It's one of my favourite things when a tram slowly goes by some trees or bushes, and the branches gently touch the windows.

there's something particularly appealing about this kind of old kinda shitty but clearly still in use railway infrastructure, it implies that the service keeps running despite probably not being the most "economical" option.

at least here in sweden we just scrap any rail services that aren't basically mandatory for transportation to function, we've abandoned the entire northern inland railway and the city Norrköping is kinda famous for being small yet keeping their tram network (we used to have way way way more tram networks than one would think), so this kind of thing is just so nice and quaint to me.

We used to have a tram line on one of the major streets of this city, but it got scrapped in favour of more car lanes unfortunately. Our infrastructure is way too car dependent imo and the roads are too wide.

Most of our tram lines and trams are somewhat old and shitty, unfortunately. It's unlikely to get significantly better in the next decade.
