They've been saying it, even celebrating it, openly, for months anyone whose paid attention shouldn't be surprised that they are no longer putting up pretenses.

The guy saying it isn’t even American. Wtf?

[-] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 25 points 3 days ago

Hey now ... technically speaking, the first Revolutionaries weren't American either.

[-] ech@lemm.ee 4 points 3 days ago

Technically right, but irrelevant and giving him and this whole shitshow undeserved credibility.

Yuo. Murrica has fallen to a foreign power

[-] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 9 points 3 days ago

I wish he weren’t, but he is an American citizen. Saying that doesn’t count is one of the problematic things about this administration

These cunts wouldn't know what to do if it weren't bloodless. I have a very good aim with a 12 gauge and I would love to aim it at his bald ass head.

So, they want the people to revolt against the US government of which consists of them? Yes, it's a psychological tactic. I hate something. I want something I hate to fail. I become what I want to fail. Make it fail. Complain about how what I hate is failing. Try to remove what I hate because it is now failing.

Nope. You're still on the old strat. Their new strat is claiming to be the revolutionaries, as they burn it all down for resale.

I never would have guess some revolutions just feel like the company is restructuring around you until they finally lay you off.

[-] EfreetSK@lemmy.world 11 points 3 days ago

Is he like Medvedev of the US? You know, the crazy guy so the boss looks more normal?

[-] phdepressed@sh.itjust.works 25 points 3 days ago

No, Elon's got the real power this time. Trump's demented and checked out, so long as he's getting money and enough attention he doesn't care. Most of congress doesn't appear to care if they're still getting their checks and investment returns. Elon truly believes in the supremacist checklist he's getting done. And no one with the power is doing anything about it.

[-] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 7 points 3 days ago

He is the boss, as are the other technocrats he represents.

[-] Laereht@lemmy.world 11 points 3 days ago

No English speakers have any idea about the proper use of our language anymore. This isn't a revolution, it is a devolution that is taking place. Who wants to place bets on how long it will take for us to get back to the stone age?

[-] DrSleepless@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

DEVO was right the whole time
