They have a lot of government contracts for AWS. There's a reason he's kissing Trumps ass. I'm not really sure why he and the rest of them are still involved with the companies at all and not just fucking off with their millions. I'd be somewhere else not dealing with political bullshit.

How do I leave AWS?

I use S3, EC2, SNS (or whatever they call it now), email, cloudfront

I want the same fast servers and CDN. I can probably pay someone else for email and sms services

You learn how to hack multiple other services together, and you coordinate with multiple third parties + their different applications. There are no other feature complete competitors. The S in AWS is what defined it. The AW part doesn't matter; anyone can do that with enough cash, effort, and skill. Welcome to the global monopoly, thank you for your support by using AWS.

Never heard of the Irish Star before. I went looking for a secondary source. So far CNN and MSNBC are not reporting on this. But interestingly the Washington post is.

Literally anyone else unless you're a giant business, S3 is super expensive.

I only have experience with on prem, but have heard good things about backblaze.

You can live without Twitch. Once you leave, you have so much time to do other stuff. Stuff that are so much better than watch other people play games or eat ramen in Tokyo. Go play games yourself and see the world around you with your own eyes. You can also stop ordering useless new stuff. Visit thrift stores or buy second hand online.
