KDE Testers Assemble! Plasma 6.3 Beta is here.

The first big KDE release of 2025 is just around the corner. Plasma 6.3 will be hitting desktops in about a month. Meanwhile, we need testers to try out the beta and submit bug reports so we can work on making it perfect.

Is this how the dark/light transition will look like?

A small visual issue but nice to see fixed!

Where was it before this?

@muelsyse @kde@lemmy.kde.social

Spectacle release cycle has moved to that of Plasma and will be installed with Plasma, as a part of Plasma.

It used to be am independent app and on many distros you would install it separately (like on Arch) and its release cycle was that of KDE Gear.

Plasma 6 Bugs

If you encounter a bug, proceed to https://bugs.kde.org, check whether it has been reported.

If it hasn't, report it yourself.

PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING HERE.

Developers do not look for reports on social media, so they will not see it and all it does is clutter up the feed.
