I don't think this is true. A lot of the people who voted for Trump in the election are simply disillusioned with the status quo, and rightly so. They don't know enough to know which changes would help, but when only one side promised change, they went with that side.

I voted for democrats, because I know better, but it's a fact that there are a lot of people who don't pay as much attention to politics as I do. Ultimately, most of the people who voted for Trump are not perpetrators, they are victims. Of course I wish they were less ignorant, but I also don't personally blame them, because I'm not into victim-blaming. The blame should be assigned to the perpetrators, the rich and powerful.
