This comment single handedly convinced me that this is a spider bite.

I don't live near ticks, like the other comment suggested. I live with many spiders in my home.

All the tic bites I’ve seen in person have a sort of necrotic divot in the center, even if the tic tests negative for disease.

I absolutely hate ticks. Fortunately the chances of it being a tick bite are very low. I will look for the ring none the less.
