Wisconsin Michigan and Pennsylvania all voted red honey

[-] PoopingCough@lemmy.world 45 points 2 years ago

And Virginia went blue

[-] butwhyishischinabook@lemmy.world 47 points 2 years ago

Except WI, MI, and PA all voted for Trump....

[-] Cethin@lemmy.zip 35 points 2 years ago

And VA did not. This map is pretty bad.

[-] PanArab@lemm.ee 4 points 2 years ago

This is a 2004 map I think

Wisconsin didn't vote for Drumph according to the last results. Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Virginia are all wrong on this map.

Virginia voted for Harris. Michigan and Pennsylvania didn't.

Edit: Maryland also seems to be misrepresented, as they, unsurprisingly, voted for Harris.

Colorado and New Mexico are also unfairly lumped in with the red states on this map.

Edit 2: I find the AP map suspect. Not once since Nixon has the country voted this firmly conservative. I smell foul play with electronic voting machines, especially the ones that don't provide a paper receipt. Especially since they openly said they were going to hack the voting machines, and Diebold, a company owned by Dick Cheney, makes those voting machines.

Edit 3: Arm yourselves comrades. Crossbows make less noise firing the bolt than hitting your target that is illegally breaking and entering your domicile.

Cops are nothing more than thugs with badges that allow them to kill with impunity. Harlow v Fitzgerald was decided based on slaver lies, not the actual law.

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/05/15/us/politics/qualified-immunity-supreme-court.html

The law won't save you now.

Create your local communities, but be careful to ostracize the conservative and neo liberal traitors that will turn you in and destroy your community.

What did Colorado New Mexico do to you?

[-] KingGordon@lemmy.world 40 points 2 years ago

Reporting from the heart of dumbfuckistan. You are correct.

[-] Pickle_Jr@lemmy.dbzer0.com 21 points 2 years ago

Dude I want out. Even before yesterday it's just depression and exhaustion here

[-] Master@lemm.ee 14 points 2 years ago

Its not that easy sadly.

[-] SmokedBillionaire@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 years ago

Very difficult with no college degree. Otherwise myself and my family would already be there.

Book a flight and come on a tourist visa. Once here apply for a student visa or work permit if you have a profession that’s in demand. Gaining citizenship varies between European countries, but can be as short as five years IIRC.

For example Germany https://www.germany-visa.org/work-employment-visa/

[-] CptOblivius@lemmy.world 9 points 2 years ago

I'm in northern dumbfuckistan. Can confirm.

[-] Vorticity@lemmy.world 37 points 2 years ago

Colorado had nothing to do with this. Harris won by well over 10% here. New Mexico too. Get us out of here, please!

Dividing things by states makes no sense, the only reason it looks like that is because of how the elections work. There is blue and red in every state.

[-] keyez@lemmy.world 12 points 2 years ago

Reporting in from a county in NC that was 64% voting for Harris 🫡

[-] Kazumara@discuss.tchncs.de 15 points 2 years ago

Michigan, Wisconsin and Pensylvania voted dumbfuck though? I mean that's the whole problem here isn't it. A pretty well know fact you could say?

[-] StaticFalconar@lemmy.world 13 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

You couldn't even care enough to label the states correctly. Is this a bot account?

[-] ILikeBoobies@lemmy.ca 13 points 2 years ago

If the Americas wish to leave the Union and become Canadian territories then they do sort of connect

[-] socsa@piefed.social 11 points 2 years ago

The people of Virginia have filed a formal complaint

[-] Omega_Jimes@lemmy.ca 11 points 2 years ago

In Neal Stephenson's Fall, he describes the area of Ameristan where religious fundamentalists have taken over, and all crucify people for things like polyester/cotton blends or being gay.

So yeah, anyway, if you want a lens into the future...

[-] mvirts@lemmy.world 9 points 2 years ago

Hey. New Mexico did right.

[-] nzeayn@lemmy.world 8 points 2 years ago

you've combined those midwest states like the british used to draw country boarders to keep groups fighting eachother. i have concerns.

[-] ChillPenguin@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

Yeah, come on. Don't group Minnesota with Wisconsin. As a Minnesotan, I find that disrespectful. Haha

Hating on voters doesn’t help.

[-] ayyy@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 years ago

Good thing there aren’t any voters anymore, then.

[-] BaroqBard@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

Yeah, as a Pennsylvanian, this def needs an update

[-] atocci@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

I wish I didn't live in Dumbfuckistan anymore

[-] Mac@mander.xyz 6 points 2 years ago

[-] jzzvid 6 points 2 years ago

I hate to tell you this, but this was what America has historically been about.

There is a saying...

Make a mistake once and you can call it learning, make a mistake twice and you are eh... not so smart

[-] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 2 points 2 years ago

I bet Canada would let some of those join.

[-] tarsn@lemmy.ca 3 points 2 years ago

We have a bunch of trump worshipping dumbfucks up here too

[-] franklin@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

I'm pretty sure our next election is going entirely conservative. It's a state of affairs.
