I can't even think of anything to say. I guess just talk to me about whatever, Lemmy. Please and thank you. I'm tired of being alone with my thoughts.

EDIT: All right, gonna turn in. Love ya anyway, Lemmy. Goodnight.

I can't even afford a book right now and the only thing that even sounds appealing to read is The Wind in the Willows.

...but a book club isn't a terrible idea. I wonder if anyone else would be interested.

You know what, I've never actually read The Wind in the Willows, but I hear it's delightful.

If you want to make a book club, I'd join. Otherwise, I'll check back in (if I remember) with what I thought

I am firmly in the camp that it's only considered a children's book due to the simplistic writing, but otherwise the story is deeply affecting for adults.

I would have given anything to paddle down the Thames with Water Rat and Mole, having picnics in the meadows, and generally leading a relaxed and happy life.

It's definitely a "stop glorifying the grind and start glorifying whatever the fuck this is" type deal.

I just finished Wind in the Willow and I have to say it's a good book. Thanks for the recommendation, it definitely holds up.

When Mole came home for the holidays really affected me. I wish I had a friend as good as Rat, because even though Mole was ashamed of where he came from and had neglected his past, he still made him feel like home. And then the carollers visited and it was really quite wonderful. I guess home really is the people in your life. Fuck, now I'm crying again

I don't know if I totally understood what was going on with the pan-goat. Then again, I'm not sure I was meant to.

Anyway, thanks again. I've been enriched by this book
