Weird how one answer gets more upvotes

Let's double check

225 x 2

Solve for x

[-] Annoyed_Crabby@monyet.cc 55 points 8 months ago

Answer: X = Formerly Twitter

[-] Track_Shovel@slrpnk.net 15 points 8 months ago

So it's value is essentially zero?

[-] elvith@feddit.org 8 points 8 months ago

So… 22502 is the solution!

[-] LouNeko@lemmy.world 14 points 8 months ago

Let's put 2 on the other side.

225 x 2

Now 2 wears 225 as a hat. Which means x is kinda funny.

[-] fl42v@lemmy.ml 6 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

Lefthand side is empty, "empty" is not a number, hence x is NaN as well.

When people don't learn roman numerals at school anymore...

It's 10, plain and simple

[-] JaymesRS@literature.cafe 28 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

99 ÷ 2 = 92 though, right?

[-] programmer_belch@lemmy.dbzer0.com 18 points 8 months ago

But is 250 + 25

I think it’s because if you take the numbers individually, 225 looks like it would be half of 550 because 25 is half of 50.

But in actuality, half of 550 is 275.

I don’t know where you got your doctor from mister but it certainly isn’t in mathematics. The post is making fun of people like you defying the laws of basic calculus.

[-] lugal@lemmy.world 1 points 8 months ago

If 275 is half of 550, then what is half of 275?

Checkmate atheist

Oh shit, I was gonna block the poster because this is absolutely shit even for shit posting. But then its him and I'd lose like 30% of lemmy.world content.

Don't staunch your heavy heart. It's okay to feel things, it won't make you week. Cry if you want to it will be okay.

[-] prongs@lemm.ee 1 points 8 months ago

I finally have a reason to use my weeks of accumulated sick leave.
