What did the Daily Show do?

Update: I see what you’re talking about now. https://lemmy.world/post/19904155

I say "oh, good!" only because I enjoyed falling asleep listening both to the show and to the many debunking videos that came out on YouTube afterwards. My current favorite is the Miniminuteman analysis, which is hilarious.

I've been looking for some new long-form content to sleep to. Now I have something to look forward to!

Also, Graham Hancock is a bigot.

And he once predicted the end of the world. When it didn't happen, he never brought it up again.

And because the first season of his most current group of lies molded into a TV show was super popular, he's doing more.

I had to Google it be cause I also wasn't in the loop. From Wikipedia: Ancient Apocalypse is a 2022 Netflix series, where the British writer Graham Hancock presents his pseudoarchaeological theories about the existence of an advanced civilization active during the last ice age. Academic archeologists describe many of the claims made as easily disproven.
