Speaking as a Marxist, we did in fact need to chuck Newtonianism out the window early last century since it turned out not to work at high speeds, in strong gravitational fields, or at very small scales...

Who We Are

HumanProgress.org is a project of the Cato Institute

Hmm. Let's Google that.

The Cato Institute is an American libertarian think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C. It was founded in 1977 by Ed Crane, Murray Rothbard, and Charles Koch, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Koch Industries.

Oh yes I'm sure this website is totally not super anti-communist drivel.

Here's a sourced rebuttal of this kind of slanted rightwinger crap. https://archive.is/Pjymk

By all accounts Cuba has an anti-gay past to reckon with like most nations. But that has little to do with Che.

And of the racism claims, there's a handy politifact article on that topic: https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2013/apr/17/marco-rubio/did-che-guevara-write-extensively-about-superiorit/

I agree. I want to add this (old)reddit thread in r/AskHistorians about 'Was it the truth behind the critical controversy surrounding Che Guevara? Was Che a murderer, a homophobe, and racist who needs to be viewed much more critically?', it's a better and less biased source than the reactionary Cato Institute article.

A man who died undoing the sins of his early 20s. We all learn from our mistakes, Che made it his life's work to do better than his childhood prejudices.

Damn you're right, Che Guervara "was no angel." I guess this whole Marxism thing is just a waste of time, glad I have perfect choices to vote for here in America.
