Stein is a Russia-planted spoiler candidate. That's it

Suggesting that Jill Stein is a “Russian stooge” dismisses legitimate political discourse and attempts to silence alternative viewpoints. It’s a tactic to coerce voters into conformity rather than encouraging healthy debate and democracy.

In the end, I refuse to be intimidated into voting against my conscience.

Voting for the candidate who best represents my beliefs is not just a right—it’s a responsibility.

Democracy thrives on diversity of thought, and I will continue to exercise my right to vote for the candidate who truly speaks for me, regardless of the fearmongering that often comes from the two-party system.

In the end it sure looks like you're just keeping your head in the sand because you think you're not crazy, everyone else saying you are is crazy.

I'd prefer to keep comments directly related to the content of the article. I've made myself clear where I stand. Thank you for supporting my right to vote for who I want to, even if you don't like that person!

The Green Party of Nevada had turned in nearly 30,000 signatures for ballot access – far more than the required 10,000. :)

The Nevada State Democratic Party filed a lawsuit in June accusing the Greens of failing to gather the required number of signatures

This is why I don’t like calling them the Democratic Party. They do such undemocratic things.

[-] UniversalMonk@lemmy.world 3 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

Agreed. They definitely don't do very "democratic" things and are happy to team up with the republicans if it means the two parties stay in power.

And not only that, but The Green Party of Nevada had turned in nearly 30,000 signatures for ballot access – far more than the required 10,000. And that's why the Green Party won the lawsuit.

[-] HomerianSymphony@lemmy.world 2 points 8 months ago

Yeah. Sounds like a frivolous lawsuit to drain the Green Party’s resources, because the Democrats know the Greens don’t have much money.

[-] UniversalMonk@lemmy.world 2 points 8 months ago

It did seem frivolous to me as well.

What state or congressional candidates are the greens running this year? Seems like you only ever hear about Stein the last 3 elections, did they even campaign for mid terms?

I'm not a fan of the libertarian party but they seem to at least have the right idea with focusing on local and state elections in places where they can actually win.

Green should def focus om more local/state. Tho there have been a few wins here and there. They need to do more.
