You're not wrong. But you're like nine years late on this one.

In our beautiful current year of 2024 the fucker is running again after being impeached twice, after losing in 2020, after becoming a convicted felon.

Was that the number of wigglers he injected into Stormy Daniels?

[-] IsoSpandy@lemm.ee 1 points 8 months ago

It's the upper bound

[-] volvoxvsmarla@lemm.ee 5 points 8 months ago

You know we all are so focused on him not being reelected in 2024 that we forget that if he won't he'll definitely find a way to run again in 2028 and we have all this hell all over again

Indeed. Might not be the rhetoric from this go round, but it’s great that you’re shining a spotlight on it. One more word soup statement that was a projection imo.

Ignoring all that. Are he and Biden truly the best that that country has to offer, out of the ~~~290mil~~ ~184mil native-born citizens over age 35?? I don't believe that.

Edit: added restrictions on the age group.

“Ignoring all that”

keep whining… keep adding conditionals…

[-] 01189998819991197253@infosec.pub 2 points 8 months ago

Read the rest of the comment, before you get angry. You may find that full opinions are a little easier to swallow than the partial you chose to hear.

Nothing unread. Nothing of value was lost. No value missed. You cling to BS.

Random string of numbers weighs in…

[-] 01189998819991197253@infosec.pub 1 points 8 months ago

If you think it's random, then we're done here.

He doesn’t want to get rid of the swamp, he wants to rule it.

Dumbass knows nothing about ecology.

Swamp creatures lives matter. Make swamp creatures great again.

He wanted to drain the swamp to make room for the sewage he pumped in

[-] EpeeGnome@lemm.ee 3 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

If the politicians and bureaucrats that Trump and friends pushed out are like murky swamp water, then the ones he brought in are like raw sewage, so I always said that he only wanted to "drain the swamp" so he'd have room to pump in said raw sewage.

[-] Crashumbc@lemmy.world 3 points 8 months ago

He wanted to drain the swamp of the other guys. NOT his guys.

[-] MehBlah@lemmy.world 2 points 8 months ago

Scum floats to the top of the swamp and when it gets there is no longer wants the swamp to drain.

[-] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 2 points 8 months ago

Trump

I was expecting to see a massive political fight but everyone is being civil.

[-] Hedlosa 1 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

It's lemmy, everyone is left of Biden at least, I would say at least 30% are communists or anarchists

Ok well everywhere worth visiting on here.

[-] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 2 points 8 months ago

I'm not but I realize I'm a minority

I honestly rather the slight left than the far right

[-] KingThrillgore@lemmy.ml 2 points 8 months ago

A swamp supports a vibrant ecosystem he wants to destroy and pour over with concrete. Its like the Everglades and the sugar farmers all over again.

A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The most popular seem to be lighthearted, clever little truths, hidden in daily life.

Here are some examples to inspire your own showerthoughts: 1

Rules

  1. All posts must be showerthoughts
  2. The entire showerthought must be in the title
  3. No politics
    • If your topic is in a grey area, please phrase it to emphasize the fascinating aspects, not the dramatic aspects. You can do this by avoiding overly politicized terms such as "capitalism" and "communism". If you must make comparisons, you can say something is different without saying something is better/worse.
    • A good place for politics is c/politicaldiscussion
    • If you feel strongly that you want politics back, please volunteer as a mod.
  4. Posts must be original/unique
  5. Adhere to Lemmy's Code of Conduct and the TOS

If you made it this far, showerthoughts is accepting new mods. This community is generally tame so its not a lot of work, but having a few more mods would help reports get addressed a little sooner.

Whats it like to be a mod? Reports just show up as messages in your Lemmy inbox, and if a different mod has already addressed the report the message goes away and you never worry about it.
