Okay… so I don’t like the Republicans at all. But what I dislike even more is the media trying to brainwash me with misleading headlines.

Yea, Greg Steube is a Republican. A SINGLE Republican. Not “the republicans.”

That would be like saying:

Democrats vote against minimum wage, filibuster reform, and climate change funding.

When in reality it was Krysten Sinema.

That'd be this guy:

(He's also a FloridaMan)

Thank you! Be the better person, dont involve yourself in creating misleading headlines and B.S. clickbait "articles" if you don't want it happening to you.

Meh. Naming things after former presidents isn't exactly unheard of.

[-] LibertyLizard@slrpnk.net 19 points 4 months ago

I’m sorry, the entire coastal waters? Fuck no, this is absolutely unheard of and insane.

[-] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 4 points 4 months ago

True. It's usually post offices and airports. The scale here does seem off.

[-] FlowVoid@lemmy.world 10 points 4 months ago

It's unheard of when they haven't left politics.

[-] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 4 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

That's fair. Even still living is rare I suppose.

[-] Eldritch@lemmy.world 7 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

They've literally spent the last 40 years trying to name bits of the ocean after reagan. This is extremely predictable and on brand for this cult.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

They want that dumbphuck ronnie raygun on currency and Mount Rushmore, they are just that stupid. And of course, the "liberal media" has piled on with huge amounts of help in this stupid narrative about how popular ronnie raygun was.

No wonder they are trying to do the same for the even stupider, even more divisive and even more awful dimbulb donnie.

"Hey, what can be more underwater than Trump's properties?"

"Okay, hear me out..."

[-] FlowVoid@lemmy.world 10 points 4 months ago

I'm willing to compromise. Let's call it "The Convicted Felon Zone".

[-] aseriesoftubes@lemmy.world 6 points 4 months ago

All of that “cuck” talk was definitely projection

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago

Yes, they all line up to fellate the orange con man.

[-] Ghostalmedia@lemmy.world 5 points 4 months ago

This is basically the whole article:

Legislation from Florida Representative Greg Steube would rename the US Exclusive Economic Zone to the “Donald John Trump Exclusive Economic Zone of the United States.”

[-] carl_dungeon@lemmy.world 5 points 4 months ago

They should because I’d feel better about people dumping toxic waste into Trump’s inlet and whatnot.

[-] ChowJeeBai@lemmy.world 4 points 4 months ago

Shartific ocean?

[-] dhork@lemmy.world 4 points 4 months ago

Then Trump is gonna try to charge us all rent.

"Congress says I own it all exclusively!"

[-] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 5 points 4 months ago

This is so sad because it's so very, very likely.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago
